Man Who Stole Copper Wire Sentenced To 6 Months In The Tehama County Jail

Record keeping by a scrap dealer allowed Tehama County Deputies to track down a thief. A shop owner had 1,200 Pounds of Copper wire stolen from his business. He checked at a local recycling center and found some of the wire, which had been sold to them by James Boyd Knight. After reaching a plea deal for felony possession of stolen property, Knight was sentenced to 6 months in county jail and 2 years probation.
