An elderly man accused of sexually assaulting fellow residents of a Redding senior home will be given a mental evaluation. 89-year-old Milton Miller was arrested last month and charged with four felony counts of sexual battery on institutionalized victims. Miller has prior felony convictions and is a registered sex offender. His crimes allegedly were committed while he was in Sierra Oaks Assisted Living. Redding Police are still seeking any possible additional victims. Last week his defense declared a doubt to his competency to stand trial. Milton will be evaluated by a court appointed doctor and will return to court May 6th. He remains in Shasta County Jail on $100,000 bail.
