A juvenile was taken into custody following threats of violence made about a Weaverville-area school. The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office says that a post was made on social media Wednesday that showed a picture of a handgun, made a reference to the school, and included the words “try me tomorrow”. The juvenile alleged to be responsible for the post was arrested and schools in the area took special security precautions Thursday.
