A missing Mount Shasta woman has been found, but the news is not good. 79-year-old Dortha Diane Evans has walked away from her assisted living facility on September 25th, but Mount Shasta Police weren’t told until October 1st. An intensive search has been underway, with officers handing out flyers door-to-door and walking areas that Dortha used to frequent. On Wednesday her body was found above Shastice Park near the railroad tracks. Her family has been notified.
