A pot bust was done in Gerber on Saturday, according to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office. For several months, patrol deputies had been investigating suspicious activity at two homes in the Gerber area. They found that 35-year-old Antonio Esquivel lived at one of the houses and had connections with the other one. On Saturday both homes were searched. Investigators reported finding 210 Pounds of processed marijuana bud, with much of it already packaged in One-Pound bags. They also reported finding a small amount of Methamphetamine and more than $24,000. Evidence of indoor cultivation was apparently found at the second home. Esquivel was booked into jail on several charges.
