Mt. Shasta Police are just reporting an arrest of an Oregon man who was wanted for a number of charges. On January 8th an officer responded to a call for service. During the contact, the officer identified 38-year-old Rem Heathen and confirmed he had an active warrant out of Portland, Oregon. The warrant included charges of attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, unlawful use of a weapon , and coercion. Heathen was taken into custody and later transferred for extradition and booking in Oregon.
