A theme has been chosen by the Asphalt Cowboys for this year’s Redding Rodeo Week. “Neon Lights and Rodeo Nights” was submitted by Carol Harter of Anderson. For providing the chosen entry, carol will get $100 and will ride in the Rodeo Parade on May 18th as a special guest of the Asphalt Cowboys. Parade entry forms will be available soon at asphaltcowboys.org. The Redding Rodeo takes place the third week of May, and many events lead up to it, including the huge pancake breakfast in Downtown Redding. All the non-rodeo events are organized by the 40 members of the Asphalt Cowboys and their supporters. Tickets for the rodeo will be available at reddingrodeo.com.
