There’s going to be a new daily bus service between Redding and Sacramento. Redding Area Bus Authority is partnering with San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority to launch “Route 5 Gold Runner Thruway”. It’ll leave out of Redding and make stops in Red Bluff, Orland and Williams before heading to Sacramento Airport, Amtrak rail and the Greater Sacramento Region. The ribbon cutting is August 24th, followed by two round trips per day. Details, including schedules, can be found at goldrunner.com/route-5.
