A Redding man has been caught up in a child sexual predator sting operation by Weed Police Department. An undercover Weed Police Officer posed on social media as a 13-year-old. 23-year-old Jeremy Black of Redding allegedly engaged in sexually-charged communications with the officer and sent photos of himself posing with various firearms. Weed Police requested that Redding Police get involved. An AR-15 rifle seen in the photos had apparently been reported stolen. On Thursday Black’s home was searched and officers reported finding the stolen AR-15 along with other guns, high capacity magazines, and a lot of evidence of 3D printed gun manufacturing, including Glock-style pistol frames and lower receivers for AR-15 style rifles.
