2025 was a record year for Haven Humane Society. A total of 2,134 animals were adopted, more than any year in the history of Haven Humane. Volunteers donated nearly 12,800 hours of time, which included 3,750 dog walks. 718 animals in the foster program were helped by 355 foster parents. During kitten season, the kitten nursery helped 358 of them on their journey to become healthy cats. 1,145 of the stray animals picked up last year were returned to their homes, 518 of them before going to the shelter. Haven’s spay and neuter clinic performed 4,798 free or alteration surgeries, and another 611 were done at a mobile clinic. The shelter continues to operate at critical capacity and good loving homes for pets are urgently needed.
