PG&E May Cut Power To 14,000 Customers This Weekend Due To High Winds

PG&E is warning that they may conduct Public Safety Power Shutoffs beginning Saturday afternoon. The utility says gusty winds of up to 50 miles an hour are possible, from the west Saturday and from the north on Sunday. Combined with plunging humidity levels, the conditions might prompt PG&E to cut power to 14,000 customers in parts of eleven counties, including Shasta, Tehama, Glenn, and Plumas.
