A Public Safety Power Shutoff by PG&E has concluded, but another one may be coming later this week. The intentional outages were done because of strong winds that brought on elevated fire danger, and more dry and gusty conditions may be on the way. It could start late Wednesday and continue through Saturday, possibly affecting as many as 30,000 customers in 22 counties. That would include nearly 2,000 in Shasta County, more than 800 in Tehama County and more than 8,300 in Butte County. The affected customers will be notified of the impending outage.
