PG&E Working To Restore Power After Monday Evenings Thunderstorms

Thousands of Southern Shasta County and Northern Tehama County PG&E customers lost electricity in Monday night’s violent thunderstorm. The outages occurred between 6:30PM and 8 O’clock Monday night. More than 5,700 customers remained without power early Tuesday morning in a huge area fanning out east from Palo Cedro, including Oak Run, Millville, Whitmore, Shingletown, Manton and into Lassen Park. PG&E says their crews are working on restoration, and they’re shooting for an estimated time of Noon Tuesday for most customers.
