The Redding Planning Commission has delayed discussion about a large commercial center at the corner of Oasis Road and Twin View Boulevard. Tuesday the commission was set to hear a permit request for a commercial development that would include hotels, restaurants, drive-throughs, retail stores and a gas station. The 36.5 acre property would be split into nine parcels, and Twin View Boulevard would be re-routed. The City Attorney recommended a delay so that the developer can complete the environmental review process. the discussion is now set for the commission’s meeting on August 25th.
