Several households lost power in Palo Cedro Wednesday morning when utility lines were brought down by a house. At the time, the modular home was on a trailer being hauled behind a semi truck. The oversize load brought down electric and communication lines on Deschutes Road near Brundage Road a little before 10:30AM. At first it was reported as a hit and run, but then the truck and house were found stopped a little way down the road. There were no injuries but the house took some damage. The road reopened about an hour after the closure.
