Some construction projects go up so quickly, people joke that they must have been dropped from the sky. That’s not far from the truth for a mixed-use housing project nearing completion this week on Parkview Avenue across the street from Redding City Hall. Monday morning there was a concrete slab foundation on the lot. By the end of the day Tuesday a crane had set in place all of the pre-fabricated boxes that will soon serve as 14 bedrooms for clients of “Faithworks”, a local non-profit seeking solutions for homelessness.
