Pro Bowler Attempting World Record In Redding Raising Funds For Veterans

A top professional bowler will try to break a Guinness World Record in Redding while raising funds for a local veterans support organization. Warren Crawford is a PBA member with more than 170 perfect games under his belt. Wednesday night he was 2 balls from a perfect series of 900. On Veterans Day, November 11th, Crawford will go for the Guinness World Record of ten pin strikes in one hour, which now stands at 191. Fundraising will benefit “Our Heroes Dreams”, a Shasta County group that saves veterans from the challenges of PTSD and self destruction. The donation drive kicks off Friday, with sponsor levels based on rank, from Specialist at $25 to Five-Star General at $25,000. Details will be posted at ourheroesdreams.org.
