Public comments are wanted for a three year plan on how Shasta County will spend state behavioral health funds. The draft plan can be reviewed at shastacounty.gov/hhsa and comments will be accepted through May 13th. The Behavioral Health Services Act was passed by voters in 2024 as Proposition 63, imposing a 1% tax on income over $1 Million, to be earmarked for mental health services.
