Public Health Says Measles Patient was at Ninja Coalition

Shasta County Public Health has identified yet another site visited by a measles patient during their 8 day contagious period, and it’s a business owned by County Supervisor Kevin Crye. After a capture-the-flag game at Highland Park on Mill Valley Parkway between noon and 4 on January 23rd, the patient was at Ninja Coalition at the Mount Shasta Mall between 2:30 and 5. Next was Osaka Sushi on Churn Creek Road that evening from 6:30 to 10. On the afternoon of the 24th it was a basketball game at Crosspointe Church on Hartnell Avenue, then Costco that evening from 6:30 to 9, and finally Churn Creek Health Care Clinic the afternoon of the 28th. Anyone who may have crossed paths with the patient should call the Measles Hotline at 638-5580. The unidentified patient remains in isolation to prevent the spread of the highly contagious disease.
