Shasta County’s Peace Officer Memorial Coalition will hold an in-person event this year, for the first time in a few years because of Covid pandemic restrictions. There have been sixteen members of Shasta County law enforcement who have died in the line of duty since 1885. The ceremony takes place Thursday at Noon on the front steps of the courthouse.
