Racially Motivated Graffiti Under Investigation In Cottonwood

Someone painted a racial slur on the street in front of a Cottonwood family’s home, and the Sheriff’s Office wants to know who did it. The white spray-painted graffiti was done on the 3000 block of Balls Ferry Road. It was reported Wednesday by a resident who believed it was directed toward their family. There are no leads but anyone who can help with identifying the culprit is encouraged to call 245-6540. The Sheriff’s Office says crimes motivated by bias, hatred or bigotry generate fear, division and pain and will not be tolerated.
