A Red Bluff man has already been sentenced to prison for stabbing a man in July. 36-year-old Arthur Peniaranda-Balderas stabbed Daniel Castaneda in the face and in the side of his body on the night of July 26th near Red Bluff Christian School at Reeds Avenue and South Jackson. The attack was stopped by Castaneda’s friends, who tried to hold onto Peniaranda-Balderas, but he slipped out of their grasp and was intercepted by Red Bluff Police as he was running away. He’s been given a 13 year prison sentence for attempted murder with enhancements.
