A candidate forum for the Shasta County District 1 and 5 supervisors races will be held Monday evening. Hosted by the Greater Redding Chamber of Commerce, the forum will pose standard questions to each candidate, and allow them to respond to each other’s answers. Several years ago the chamber ended its policy of endorsing political candidates, but president Todd Jones says that if a candidate meets a strict set of established principles, the chamber may grant limited endorsements. The forum is free to attend and will be at the Turtle Bay Sheraton Monday evening, with District 5 candidates at 5:30PM and District 1 at 6:30PM.
