Redding Man Accused Of Stealing $3,800 In Equipment From Construction Site At Cottonwood School

The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve tracked down a man who burglarized an elementary school in Cottonwood. Sometime between 1:30AM and 2AM the morning of August 27th, someone went onto the Evergreen School Campus and stole $3,800 worth of equipment from a construction site where a new building is going up. Investigators say tips and surveillance led them to Ronald Dean Graves Jr. of Redding. An arrest warrant was secured and Graves was arrested in Redding on Friday and booked into Tehama County Jail for burglary and grand theft.
