The Redding Planning Commission will meet Tuesday to consider a new subdivision. “The Oasis” would be 143 homes on 49 acres on Gold Hills Drive off Oasis Road. The developer is seeking an environmental exemption. The staff report notes that the adjacent “Gold Hills Subdivision” has only one road in and out, so it would not meet current standards. The meeting is at 4 O’clock in the City Council Chambers.
