A round of grants by the Redding Rancheria Community Fund has been announced. In it’s Fall series of grants, the tribe has awarded more than $89,000 to 35 nonprofits in Shasta and Trinity Counties. Recipients include Red Cross, search and rescue, several schools and healthcare organizations, and a variety of other causes. The Redding Rancheria philanthropic efforts are administered by the Community Foundation of the Northstate. The Redding Rancheria Fund has donated more than $4.6 Million into the community since it was established in 2002.
