Releases From Keswick Dam Will Surge Late Wednesday Night

The Bureau of Reclamation will initiate a dramatic surge in the flow of the Sacramento River. At Midnight Thursday the releases from Keswick Dam will be at 6,500 cubic feet per second. One hour later the releases will be 10,000 CFS. Occasional surges are done to replicate the natural unpredictability prior to the damming of the river.
