Water stopped flowing on Friday for a Shasta County water service area. Shasta County Public Works says its working to restore service to the Sugarloaf Water System in Lakehead. Once service is restored people will need to boil water before using it for cooking, drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes or preparing food. Boiling will kill bacteria. After tests confirm it’s safe, officials will notify users.
