A woman from Rancho Cordova has been busted with Fentanyl that she was selling locally, according to Redding Police. The RPD Bike Team and Neighborhood Police Unit had been investigating 48-year-old Sarah Jean Pearson for a month on suspicion that she had been transporting Fentanyl from Sacramento to Redding several times a week. On Wednesday Pearson was stopped while northbound on Interstate 5. She reportedly obstructed the police investigation and was arrested. Police say she was taken to a hospital so medical personnel could retrieve more than Three Ounces of packaged Fentanyl from a body cavity. Pearson was out on bail awaiting trial from an arrest last year when she allegedly had a large amount of Cocaine.
