A pair of prolific mail thieves were reportedly caught overnight by Redding Police. A resident of Kingsview Court had reported theft from a cluster mailbox, and provided a description of the vehicle. Shortly after 11 O’clock Monday night officers spotted a vehicle matching the description and pulled it over. While speaking to Gina Pinney and Lisa Larkins, officers reportedly saw drug paraphernalia in plain view. As they were taking Larkins into custody a large amount of mail with various names was reportedly seen. A search was done and it was determined that mail had been stolen from three separate cluster mailboxes in Redding, as well as from Lakehead and Palo Cedro. More than 20 victims have been identified.
