An Anderson man fled from officers when they tried to pull him over Monday afternoon, according to Redding Police. At 12:24PM an RPD motorcycle officer was on South Market Street when he saw a newer model Chevy Camaro going southbound about 70 miles an hour while recklessly passing other cars. The motor officer tried to pull the car over but the driver fled at high speed. The car was eventually found on Heller Lane off Cedars Road. 56-year-old Richard Lewis was arrested for felony evading, reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
