Two arrests have been made in a Fentanyl trafficking investigation by Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit and Bike Team. Last Thursday Redding Police were told that Hailey Dean and Trinity Conant were driving from the Bay Area to Redding in two separate cars, and that Dean was paying Conant to transport Fentanyl. Search warrants were acquired and both cars were stopped. Officers say Conant’s car was carrying more than a Pound of Fentanyl packaged in 18 separate bags. Officers then searched Dean’s home on Metro Way and reported finding a large amount of cash believed to be drug proceeds, as well as evidence of sales. Dean and Conant were both booked into jail.
