A Downtown Redding bank was robbed Thursday. At 12:46PM Redding Police were called to the Rogue Credit Union on Pine Street. The robber had walked in, approached a teller, and demanded money. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash he fled on foot. Officers searched the area looking for the suspect and possible witnesses. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video from the bank and nearby businesses, but no video or images have been released publicly. The robber is described only as a Hispanic man with dark hair, wearing a long-sleeved blue tie-dye shirt.
