A Redding man was arrested with Nitrous Oxide Sunday afternoon. At around 2 O’clock police were called to 9th Street, where 40-year-old Chan Saechin was sitting in his car. Officers say he was holding a metal bottle with a plastic mouthpiece and was repeatedly inhaling Nitrous Oxide and losing and regaining consciousness. Officers kept ordering him to get out but he apparently ignored them and placed the car into drive. Eventually officers broke the drivers side window and pulled Saechin out. That caused the car to roll forward and collide with a patrol car. Saechin was booked into jail.
