A cat burglary suspect was captured overnight after being interrupted inside a Redding home, according to police. RPD Officers were called to a house on Leisha Lane just before 12:30AM by the homeowner, who said they had found the burglar in their living room, and he had since fled. Officers found many things had been removed from the home and garage and were piled in the front yard. Officers with the all-terrain motorcycle unit and a CHP helicopter helped search the area and found 27-year-old Branson Holt nearby. He had been arrested and released less than 24 hours previously for prowling on Lower Springs Road.
