Salvation Army Launches New Program To Help Families With Emergency Situations

Many working class families say they’re just one paycheck from the street. That means unplanned expenses like a medical crisis or even a broken down car could render them homeless. A new program started by the Salvation Army is called “Project Stay In Your Home”. It’s intended for providing emergency financial help when absolutely necessary to prevent eviction, and it’s funded 100% locally. The first fundraiser is a lasagna dinner this Saturday at the Redding Elks Lodge. Information is available on the KQMS Facebook Page or by calling 222-2207.
