Memorial services for Doug LaMalfa have been announced. The seven term U.S.Congressman also served in the State Assembly and Senate and passed away unexpectedly last week after a medical emergency. The memorial service will be held on Saturday January 24th at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico beginning at Noon. Doors will open at 10AM with parking available beginning at 9:30AM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to provide time for parking and security screenings. Weapons of any kind, signs, sticks, and large bags will not be permitted. Tickets are required, and are available at douglamalfa.com/memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Oroville Rescue Mission, an organization which is dear to the LaMalfa family.
