It’s been 10 years since Shasta County’s juvenile rehabilitation facility opened to provide secure detention and rehabilitation programs for at-risk youth. During that time, high school graduation rates among juvenile offenders have improved, and the juvenile recidivism rate has dropped to an all-time low of 13.2%. To celebrate the Radio Lane facility’s 10 year anniversary, the pubic is invited to visit the lobby to get a glimpse of the operations any day this week between Noon and 5PM.
