Shasta County’s Eligibility and Employment Office is moving from it’s current location on California Street in Downtown Redding. It’s the HHSA Office that handles eligibility for CalFresh, Medi-Cal and CalWORKS. It’s not known when the new office will open and its location has not been made public, but it will be announced. Anyone seeking eligibility services needs to visit the office before 4:30PM Wednesday afternoon or go to one of the other locations: on Churn Creek Road, Breslauer Way or in Burney or Anderson.
