Shasta HHSA Director Now Supports Planned Behavioral Health Campus

A proposal for a behavioral health campus in Shasta County has gained some key support where it had previously been lacking. The facility would be built using $150 Million in state grant money and $50 Million from Signature Healthcare, the private company that would run it. Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency Director Christy Coleman has changed her mind after further review and decided to support the project. County Supervisor Matt Plummer will host a town hall meeting about the project at Dignity Health Connected Living on Mercy Oaks Drive December 8th from 6PM to 8PM.
