Shasta Historical Society Reopens Downtown Museum

Following a lengthy closure to repair flood damage, Shasta Historical Society has reopened their museum in Downtown Redding. The building was built by Redding Mayor and businessman C.C. Bush in 1902. Three years ago it was forced to close due to flooding. The water fortunately did not damage any of the artifacts of historical documents stored at the location. The public is again welcome to peruse the exhibits on display at 1449 Market Street. The open hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10AM to 4PM.
