The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office has been eradicating unpermitted Marijuana gardens. Over the course of four days deputies were assisted by Anderson Police, SINTF and the DA’s Office as they served a dozen search warrants in Happy Valley and other parts of the county. 3,004 plants were seized along with 459 Pounds of processed cannabis. Deputies also found 8 illegal guns and one stolen gun. Two weapons related arrests were made.
At Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors Meeting, County Executive Officer Dave Rickert reported a Marijuana eradication operation done by the Sheriff’s Office August 4th in Happy Valley. Deputies served 4 search warrants and seized 316 plants along with 124 Pounds of processed cannabis bud. 2 illegal rifles were also seized. An arrest was made for the guns and another person was arrested on warrants.
