This Saturday an old timey celebration takes place in Shingletown. It’s the Shingletown Founder’s Day Parade and Sawdust Festival, featuring dozens of vendors, food, drinks, games, prizes, a bake sale, hand made items and more. There will even be duck races. Live music will be provided by the Bear Creek Band. The event runs from 10AM to 4PM Saturday, with the parade starting at 11Oo’clock on Alpine Meadow Road and Wilson Hill Road. The festival is a fundraiser for Shingletown Library.
