A large fire is being fought in Colusa County near the likely location of a future reservoir. The Sites Fire is 10,000 acres with no containment. Many nearby residents are under evacuation orders.
Crews are wrapping up two fires in Butte County. The Junes Fire in the Palermo area is 95% contained after burning 1,076 acres. The Rocky Fire in the Feather Falls area is still 70% contained after burning 18 acres.
