District 2 Shasta County Supervisor Tim Garman has sparked controversy with his choice for an appointee to the Citizens Elections Advisory Commission. Nathan Pinkney has been a polarizing figure in local politics with his scathing satirical commentaries and verbal disputes within the Supervisors Chambers and elsewhere. The normally-five-member commission currently has only three members. The appointment for Pinkney is on Tuesday’s Supervisors agenda.
