Shasta College recently secured nearly $900,000 in Opioid litigation settlement funds to support programs that help recovering drug addicts get an education. The Board of Supervisors approved by a 4-1 vote to allocate $888,683 in Opioid litigation settlement funds to Shasta College to support their step-up and alcohol and drug studies programs. The funds will go towards supporting students financially as they progress through the three-year programs.
