At Tuesdays meeting, the Shasta County Board of Supervisors might finally decide to censure Registrar of Voters Clint Curtis for substantiated findings of managerial misconduct. Two reports –one completed by the County and another by a private firm- recommended that disciplinary action be taken against Clint Curtis for creating a hostile work environment by physically threatening his employees. The board was on the verge of deciding on a censure in May but the board voted 3 to 2 to put off action until after the election. In late June Allen Long broached the subject of a censure again. Kevin Crye said he thought it was a waste of time and Chris Kelstrom said he wanted to wait until July, after the vote was certified. The issue will come up again Tuesday.
