A man who was busted with drugs in Tehama County by Butte County Drug Agents has been sentenced. 55-year-old Humberto Arambula was suspected of trafficking large quantities of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl and on January 29th the Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force got a search warrant, then staked out a short-term rental on Dale Avenue in Corning where Arambula had been staying. He was detained when he drove up to the house and the place was searched. Agents found 8.6 Pounds of Methamphetamine, 5.3 Ounces of Fentanyl, a scale, 7 cell phones, and a passport issued in someone else’s name. Arambula pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for sale and maintaining a place to sell drugs in exchange for a 4 year state prison sentence.
