Tehama County Supervisor Pati Nolen has resigned as part of a settlement with the District Attorney’s Office. Nolen had been accused of misconduct that included drinking on the job, secretly recording closed meetings and illegally accessing personnel files. Nolen filed counterclaims against the county, leading to negotiations for a deal that had Nolen resign and promise never to run for the office again. In exchange, all accusations against her are withdrawn and the county will pay her attorney fees of $137,000.
