The Sundial Bridge Will Be Lit Pink Thursday For The 30th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day

It’s all about early detection. When it’s caught and treated in early stages breast cancer is one of the most survivable forms of cancer. Thursday marks the 30th year for the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day that started right here in Redding under a different name. Informational bags containing the calendar and other items are being handed out during a drive through event at Tri Counties Bank on Hilltop Drive from 6:30AM to 8:30AM this morning. Then, from 5PM to 8PM Thursday evening the Sundial Bridge will be lit up pink for the resource fair with many booths, food trucks and entertainment. A free shuttle will be running from the Mount Shasta Mall behind JCPenney. The bridge will be bathed in pink through the weekend. There’s a lot of information at norcalbreastcancerconnection.org.
